Kevin Bloody Wilson’s story is remarkable. He has become a part of Australian Culture, a part of who we are and how we define ourselves. His DILLIGAF attitude is a quality to be envied. He’s been listed in Who’s Who, his entire body of work has been preserved for future generations with the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra and his fan base stretches from Broken Hill to Buckingham Palace. Kevin Bloody Wilson is also the only international artist who can shift seamlessly between an outback pub to the hallowed halls of the London Palladium. His record sales are now nudging the four million mark. Without traditional media support, all of Kevin Bloody Wilson’s albums and DVDs have achieved Gold Sales status globally, with many reaching Platinum, and one, ‘Kev’s Back’, awarded an amazing quadruple Platinum. Kev’s recordings can be found in such diverse locations as Outback Australia to Antarctica. From Big-Rig road trains to the console of Prince Charles’ Aston Martin. It seems ironic that twenty-five years ago, Kevin Bloody Wilson was being arrested for performing his songs in public, yet on Australia Day in January 2010, he was officially nominated for Australian Of The Year for doing exactly the same thing. Now, Kev tours often in Australia and internationally, always to large audiences of adoring fans. He maintains his stringent tour schedule because of his love of live shows, and the incredibly interaction he has with the multitude of fanatical Kev fans worldwide. Well done Kev, you’ve done us proud. Don’t miss the legend in a venue near you!

We all know someone affected by cancer and we all want to help but ... often don't know how. The So-Realists, in support of the McGrath Foundation, would like to extend an inviation to help raise funds for hands on support. The McGrath Foundation is known for its work providing care to Breast Cancer patients through their support nurses whilst initiating awareness programs to detect and prevent the early stages of Breast Cancer. You can help us help them through a night of Music, Food, Drinks and Art. The So-Realists have been working hard to create work to the theme 'Wabi Sabi' (nothing is perfect, nothing is permanent, nothing is finished) - stay tuned for a sneak peak of their work - you will love it! If you love Art, if you are after a funky piece to fill a blank wall, if you want a piece of work that means something, if you like the thought of helping others by also getting something yourself, or maybe you're more into wine, food and good music, REGARDLESS- this event is for you!

Annual event where Ulysses Club members gather from across the country to attend the Annual General Meeting and Election of the National Committee for another year. Surrounding the Saturday afternoon meeting is a week long event of friendship, reunion, celebration and commemoration where there are no strangers but simply friends who have not met yet. This event is held in a different place every year and 2018 is the Riverlands' turn. Whilst this is a members and guests only event there are opportunities to participate in activities outside the main event venue. There will be an anticipated 2500 motorcycle enthusiasts, attending and many will be riding some exotic machines never seen in this part of the country before. When you see them in the streets or at a coffee shop, for example, say g'day or give them a wave. They are a friendly lot. There will be a Public Open Day on Thursday 10th May where you will be welcomed to a close up view of what happens at the Main Event Venue. On the morning of Saturday 12th May there is a Grand Parade which will start at Lake Bonney and finish in Renmark via Berri and this is another opportunity to meet the members and get a closer look at the assembly of Motorcycles, Sidecar Outfits. Trikes, and Roadsters. Apart from these occasions the visiting Club Members will be out to take in the tourist activities on offer in our region.
